St. Louis Makes is the most efficient economic development nonprofit organization we know of nationwide. The only reason the organization is able to reach so many people is because of donors and the companies that serve as volunteers.

Unlike other non-profits, though, many of our volunteers are the companies that benefit from our work themselves.  St. Louis Makes shares with its community a mission to grow revenue and employment in St. Louis’ vibrant manufacturing industry. Volunteers enjoy unique networking opportunities, community involvement, and a stake in the vital work of encouraging the next generation of manufacturing professionals.
